I had a great stay at Hotel Kabuki, situated just a couple of blocks from the vibrant nightlife around Boom Boom Room and Fillmore. The room was modern and clean, albeit a bit on the smaller side, with a lovely balcony that offered fantastic views of the city. On the downside, the breakfast options were lacking, and the air conditioning could use some attention. Overall, it's a solid value for the price, especially given the location and amenities offered.
